Visualization & identification of carbohydrates.

Carbotrace are fluorescent molecules that can be used for non-destructive analysis of glucans. The carbohydrates can be visualized directly using a fluorescence microscope. Amounts and ratios of different glucans can be determined in extracts and homogenisates using a fluorescent plate reader.
