Ebba Biotech AB was founded in 2016 by professor Agneta Richter-Dahlfors to enable commercial applications and more widespread use of fluorescent tracer (optotracers) molecules, the result of many years of cutting-edge nanoscience and organic chemistry research. Based at Karolinska Institutet Science Park in Solna, Sweden, Ebba Biotech produces, sells, and delivers a wide range of purpose-built optotracers to research laboratories, hospitals, and industry worldwide.
“My passion has always been to make our nanoscience and organic chemistry research available to a wider audience. Finally, after spending years on research and development, we are ready and able to launch the full wavelength range of our fluorescent tracer (optotracer) molecule for probing and detecting bacterial biofilm.” says founder and chairman of Ebba Biotech AB, Professor Agneta Richter-Dahlfors.
