We named our Carbotrace molecules after their peak emission wavelength when they are bound to their target. That means, when Carbotrace 480 is bound to cellulose or starch, it will emit blue fluorescence at peak emission of 480 nm. Our red Carbotrace 680 can be imaged at peak emission of 680 nm when bound. This is the same for all Carbotrace molecules.
